What games have I been playing lately?
Lately, I've cut back on gaming largely due to being unemployed (more on that later) and spending much more time with the kids. I just can't justify spending time playing games. Now, I still consider myself a gamer by every means. I still crave playing games all the time. However, I have priorities in life, and gaming just isn't the top one (see above list).

What comics have I been reading?
I have a ton of comics to catch up on. Comics are something I've always been interested in but never kept up with. I've been catching up on the Green Lantern storyline for Darkest Night on cbr format, and I have lots of others I check out online like Planet Hulk and Batman.
The local comic shop Acme Comics recently had an event for Marvel's 70'th anniversary where they had a 70% all Marvel Trade Paperback sale, so I started my TPB collection.

What books have I been reading?
I just finished reading Dune by Frank Herbert. I've been wanting to read that story for forever, it's just always seemed like a daunting task. However, the moment I started reading, I was hooked. I think I read it in 6 sittings. It was amazing. I've just begun reading the second part in the series: Dune Messiah.
What movies / television have I been watching?
My wife and I watch Attack of the Show on a daily basis, which gives me all the nerd news I need (G4 pay me now? Thanks.) We've also just begun to watch Battlestar Galactica. Yes, we have never seen it. Nerd hypocrisy I know. From what we've seen, I'm in love. Now, if I can only get my wife stop passing out during movies maybe we can finish the series in time for Carprica and the upcoming movie. Our Netflix que is currently full of BSG from start to finish.
The only show we've been fully caught up on from season 1 is Heroes. I'm not even going to talk about what I think of season 4. At least not now anyways.
We went to see the midnight showing of District 9 the other night. Yeah, click here to see how that went. We plan on seeing it for real Sunday.
How about what music have I been listening to?
Besides my usual metal (Amon Amarth), I've been exploring new musical boundries. I've recently discovered Dub Step Break Beats, and Glitch Hop. Cool.
