Sleepy Eyes of Death

Music Video for the song Final Heart Bleeds Black by Sleepy Eyes of Death, a new discovery of mine. The tags "epic cinematic electro gaze" is what caught my eye. Their sound brings to mind the classic scores of Blade Runner and Legend.



I like her Jedi outfit. It looks like she woke up on Tatooine.

I'm not sure if it falls within the category of "Chillwave" or not (read: Is Chillwave the Next Big Music Trent - WSJ), and I'm not one to try to categorize everything I listen to. On the contrary I was disappointed to find that these recent musical discoveries of mine are gaining popularity. I do hope it doesn't become another bastardized sub genre.

But, maybe I'm just too much of a jaded old elitist man.
